The atmosphere was full of energy when she stepped out of her car at noon to begin the event. More than 3-thousand books were sold at the store and at 8 A.M. today they were entirely sold out.

With Palin was her youngest child Trig, and her parents, Who have been there every step of the way.

"This kind of makes me emotional," Palin's father Chuck Heath said. "I see people crying. We're very proud of our daughter."

Palin's parents said they will leave for Phoenix tonight and have about 20 more stops to go around the country before the book tour winds down.
