Snoqualmie Pass to Remain Closed Through Friday

YAKIMA, Wash. - Snoqualmie Pass has received five feet of snow in the last week. Due to the extreme winter conditions on the pass, Snoqualmie Pass will remain closed for at least the next 24 hours.

With the wet, heavier snow, the avalanche threat has increased. Two feet of snow is predicted to fall by Friday evening. WSDOT crews are currently working around the clock to reopen the roadway. Please check the mountain pass pages for the latest information: www.wsdot.wa.gov/traffic/passes/
