RICHLAND, Wash - This evening at Meadow Springs Country Club Olie Kolzig and Stu Barnes hosted the fifth annual Desert Bash Auction.  Of course all the funds going to the Carson Kolzig Foundation, named after Olie's son who suffers from Autism.

Great turnout tonight and why not? There are a lot of good things both at the silent auction and the live one. A great cause always comes with great food as well, one man inparticular seemed more than excited about some delicious raw oysters. One of the hot spots however, was the number 99 jersey signed by the great one himself Wayne Gretzky.

Last year the Auction raised over $150 thousand. "for a tournament or event to do that in Seattle, that would be a great success; to do something like that in Tri-Cities speaks volumes of the community," said Kolzig. The Desert Bash continues tomorrow with a golf tournament.
