    SPOKANE, Wash.- Whether it's the temperature, or the speed,  some of the waterways in the area are too dangerous to go into this Memorial Day weekend. Even though it feels warm outside, the river water is still actually very cold. If you were to completely submerge your body in it, it wouldn't take long to get hypothermia.

    COEUR D'ALENE, Idaho - A $500k bench warrant has been issued for Lori Isenberg after she failed to appear for her arraignment hearing Friday.  Isenberg was the last person to see her husband, 68-year-old Larry Isenberg, alive before his body was recovered from Lake Coeur d'Alene.  In February, Isenberg reportedly told authorities that her husband fell from their boat at Powderhorn Bay as he attempted to fix the boat's electric trolling

KIRO-TV reported this week that the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife obtained clean mussels from Penn Cove on Whidbey Island and put them different areas to test for water contamination. Scientists worked with the Puget Sound Institute to analyze the data and discovered three out of 18 locations came back...

    MATTAWA, Wash. - On Friday, investigators determined that a threat made against Wahluke High School was written by a young male student.  Investigators say the threat was found Thursday on a bathroom wall inside the school.  "Investigators believe the threat had little credibility and that there was no risk due to the threat," Grant County Sheriff's Office said in a news release. The student responsible for writing the threat was disciplined

East Olympia Fire District 6 says that the pair sustained non-life threatening injuries and were taken to local hospitals for treatment.  The company owner of Northwest Helicopters, Brian Reynolds, told KING 5 News that the chopper had a tail rotor failure before making a hard landing. The owner says that a pilot and mechanic

    MISSOULA, Mont. (AP) - Rescuers have recovered a sport utility vehicle from the upper Selway River in the Idaho backcountry, but Idaho County Sheriff Doug Giddings says none of the four hunters missing since the crash earlier this week were inside.    The vehicle flipped into the river early Monday in a remote part of central Idaho about 60 miles west of Darby, Montana. Two of six men inside got out safely and have returned to Georgia.
