Spokane is on the up with more amenities coming every day, and since 2010 Spokane's population has increased 3.1 percent from 209 thousand people to 215 thousand people.     COEUR D'ALENE, Idaho - After a series of threats at Lake City High School in Coeur d'Alene, the school district is giving parents the tools necessary to keep up with their kids social media use.  With many instructional YouTube videos on popular apps, Smart Social is used by school districts across the country. Aside from the YouTube videos, the site ranks apps on a color scale: green is good, grey is in the middle, an red means kids should not have it.

    SANDPOINT, Idaho - Three men are behind bars for a Sandpoint burglary spree. Sandpoint Police say in this case, unfortunately great minds think alike. Police say roommates David Anthony Dorland Jr., Christian Moes, and Dylan Utt went out for a nigiht on the town this weekend, but eneded up robbing two businesses. Officers say around 11 p.m. Sunday, the guns store "Wrenco Arms" was robbed, and officers say Dorland stole a single handgun.

    SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash.- What started as an investigation into two wedding thieves, turned into the discovery of a prostitution operation. You might remember back in August, a couple that crashed a wedding at the Mirabeau Park Hotel. A box filled with wedding gifts and cards were gone. Eventually, Sierra and Josh Davies were arrested for it. Josh remains in the Spokane County Jail, facing 22 charges ranging from theft to money laundering. Sierra is facing brand new charges: prostitution.

The photographer was walking toward his small studio on the corner of West Second Avenue and Bernard Street when he noticed something different about the sidewalk. “It was spick and span,” said Crossley. “It was immaculate actually.” Standing between Crossley and his turquoise door was a man with a broom in his hand.

    Selkirk Fire would like to remind residents not to use an accelerate to ignite their in-home fireplaces, after a tenant caught their home on fire while using diesel to start their fireplace. Fire crews responded to the structure fire Thursday afternoon on Highway 95, North of Dufort Rd. Firefighter's made an aggressive attack and knocked down the fire within 30 minutes. The tenant sustained only minor injuries. The damage is estimated at an excess of $300,000. More >>
