    SEATTLE - The Woodland Park Zoo reported Tuesday that over the weekend, they called in University of Washington team physician Dr. Kimberly Harmon to help diagnose and injured gorilla. The zoo called in Harmon and other human and animal medical specialists for a diagnostic examination on Jumoke, a 32-year-old female gorilla who was born and raised at the zoo.

    SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. - Crime Stoppers of the Inland Northwest is now offering a reward to assist Spokane Valley Major Crimes Detectives locate and arrest 48-year-old Daniel L. Johnson.  Johnson is suspected of binding an adult female, assaulting her, and then shooting her. Johnson is currently wanted for Assault 1st Degree (DV) and Kidnapping 1st Degree (DV).

    SPOKANE (AP) - Opponents have raised about $151,000 to defeat a Spokane ballot measure that would fine railroad operators for certain coal and crude oil rail shipments through the city's downtown core. Voters are deciding in November whether to approve Proposition 2, which would make rail shipments of uncovered coal or untreated crude oil a civil infraction, punishable by a fine of up to $261 per rail car.

    SPOKANE, Wash. - The Spokane Arena announced on Tuesday that Trisha Yearwood will miss two of the seven Garth Brooks shows in Spokane next month due to scheduling conflicts.  On Thursday, November 9 Trisha will be finishing the filming of her cooking show, and on Tuesday, November 14 she will be filming the CMA Christmas Music Special in Nashville. She will perform at the other five shows in Spokane.

    KOOTENAI COUNTY, Idaho - The Kootenai County Sheriff's Office says a 41-year-old Osburn man tried to steal a car after crashing a car he was driving that was reported stolen out of Shoshone County last week.  The crash happened near Highway 3 and Rainy Hill on Friday. It was reported Justin Hurley Smith tried to steal another car after crashing the first.

    BLEWETT PASS, Wash. - A semi truck overturned on Blewett Pass Monday, spilling its payload of apples on the road. WSP says 56,000 pounds of apples were dumped when the truck flipped. Traffic was slowed for hours on the pass that slices through the Cascade Mountain range.  No word yet on a cause or injuries.
