    ATLANTA - Delta Air Lines says it's no longer allowing passengers to fly with "pit bull type" dogs as service or support animals.    The Atlanta-based airline describes its ban announced this week as an "enhancement" to its policy on animals in passenger areas. Delta also says it's limiting travelers to a single emotional support animal per flight. The changes take effect July 10.

The state Department of Natural Resources said Thursday that the blaze about two miles north of Vantage near the Columbia River had burned nearly 8 square miles (21 square kilometers).     AIRWAY HEIGHTS, Wash. - A new study released Thursday by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention shows that perfluoroalkyl substances or PFAS, are more dangerous at lower levels than previously thought. The 852-page study was suppressed by the Trump administration because of the "public relations nightmare" it might cause.  High levels of these chemicals, which are found in firefighting foam, were detected in the Airway Heights drinking water system last year.
