SPOKANE, Wash. - I had a feeling this trip would turn into something special when our plane arrived at Dulles International Airport in Washington D.C. We were greeted by the airport fire department using water cannons blasting a "Welcome" stream of water which formed an arch in which our plane proceeded through to the gate.

During a ceremony at Fairchild Air Force Base, retired Air Force Major Clarence Grimes received the French Legion of Honor medal. It is the highest honor bestowed by the country of France. Major Grimes entered the Army Air Corps in October of 1943. Grimes was a member of the 449th bomb group.

Booth will plead guilty to murder and robbery charges, while other charges against him will be dropped. The maximum penalty he faces is two life sentences and the death penalty is no longer an option.
