    SEATTLE, Wash. - The Seattle City Council has passed a 2018 budget that includes $1.3 million to create what could be the nation's first authorized safe-injection site for drug users. The Seattle Times reports that the $5.6 billion budget approved Monday also increases city spending on programs that address homelessness to $63 million, a nearly 40 percent jump over four years ago.

    Spokane Police searching for Shadle Park student who threatened another student

    SPOKANE, Wash. - Spokane Police are investigating a student making threats toward another student near Shadle Park High School.  Spokane Police Officer John O'Brien tells us a school resource officer heard a threat against another student and called for backup.

    SPOKANE, Wash. - Spokane Police are investigating a student making threats toward another student near Shadle Park High School.  Spokane Police Officer John O'Brien tells us a school resource officer heard a threat against another student and called for backup. Spokane Police are canvassing the area to find the student making threats. Police say the student was last seen near the library near Shadle Park High School wearing all black.
