PASCO, Wash-- The newly remodeled, Pasco Library will have a Grand Re-opening this Saturday. The library is right across from the Pasco Pool off 14th N St. and Hopkins.
Inside there are new floors and carpet, 34 new public Internet computers, and a large Wi-Fi section that is free if you bring your own laptop.
$350,000 of improvements was put into this library since it closed last December. That includes $70,000 worth of new books and DVDs.
"The Pasco Library is heavily used. If you were to come here after school you'd see a library filled with children with community members that are using their library loyally, and very dedicated to it," said Kyle Cox, Mid-Columbia Libraries.
The Grand Reopening is this Saturday, March 21st at 1:30 pm. The mayor and the Mid-Columbia Libraries Board will have a ribbon cutting.
Everyone is invited and there will be a mariachi band, games, and new artwork from local artists.
