Air Show Donates Thousands to Camp Patriot

Posted: Updated:

PASCO, Wash-- Last September, the Wings Over Washington Air Show sponsors promised to give all proceeds to veterans.

Tuesday they remained true to their show's theme of honoring our country's heroes. They donated $75,000 to Camp Patriot.

Camp Patriot gives disabled veterans, from all over the country, outdoor adventure trips.

"It's quite an honor to have the donation of $7,500 come in, it's going to help us tremendously in our mission to give U.S. disabled veterans outdoor adventures," said Micah Clark with Camp Patriot.

Recently the Camp Patriot Team took a disabled veteran to Vancouver Island to go bear hunting and every year they help blind veterans climb Mount Rainier.
