Kennewick, WA- A West Richland teenager will go on trial in June for the stabbing deaths of his mother and sister. Today prosecutors handed over to defense attorneys the list of witnesses they plan to call to testify against Donald Schalchlin. Prosecutors also agreed not to include as evidence some of the conversations between officers on the night of the deaths. Schalchlin has been in jail for more than a year while prosecutors and defense attorneys wait for forensic evidence to return from the state crime lab. The judge today scheduled the trial to begin June first.
