GRANDVIEW, Wash. -- Two acres on a farm near Grandview is under investigation for possible illegal burial of herbicide and oil containers.
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the Agriculture and Ecology Department have dug seven pits at a farm on Bethany Road. They will continue to evaluate through the weekend.
So far they've found containers, wood, furniture and even a computer monitor.
Joye Redfield-Wilder, with the Department of Ecology, says these objects could pole a problem to anyone with wells and if you have a shallow well, to be conscious of your water quality.
When the investigation is done the agencies will decide what cleanup actions may be needed.
