YAKIMA--With the current economy bringing donations down, Eisenhower High School parents needed a new way to raise money.
This weekend marks the first "Ike Indoor Yard Sale" with booths from dozens of local vendors.
Parents are raising money to throw a drug-free post-graduation party for as many students as possible.
"We have 350 graduates [at] Eisenhower," Senior Parents Chair Lori Frymier said. "We'd like at least two-thirds of them to be able to come to the party and have a safe night."
Students chipped in today as well. They made these objects in shop class to sell at the yard sale and helped set up the gym for the weekend's events.
The fundraiser continues Sunday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
