KENNEWICK, Wash-- Some elementary school kids got a hands-on look into the world of science.
Students at Edison Elementary got to play scientist thanks to Physics on Wheels-- a travelling exhibit run through the Pacific Science Center. The school's principal says learning through playing is the key to success.
"The starting point is a series of concrete experiences that kids can actually link into as they do their reading later on," says principal Bruce Cannard. "Without those experiences, it's very difficult to make those connections they need to make."
Cannard says the school put up about $750 to get the exhibit to make a pit-stop at their school.
