Tri-Cities Airport to Get $8.7 Million in Stimulus Money

PASCO, Wash. - The Tri-Cities Airport is receiving $8.7 million in stimulus money.

Airport director Jim Morasch said they have two big construction projects planned for the airport.

The first would be the completion of the airport terminal.   The second is the reconstruction of the longest runway which is mostly used by commercial airlines.

Construction is expected to start in late May or early June and should last four to six months.
