Kennewick, Richland School Fields Being Sprayed Over Spring Break
KENNEWICK, Wash. -- A lot of parents could be telling their kids to "go outside and play" during spring break next week, but they may have to avoid school playgrounds.
The Kennewick and Richland School Districts will be spraying for weeds and crabgrass March 28th to April 3rd. If a field or playground is off limits, it will be marked with either a white flag or Evergreen Lawn and Tree Care flags.
District workers ask that people stay off the fields until the flags are removed, which is normally about 24 hours after the spraying.
