Naches Valley Chamber of Commerce Unveils Newly Remodeled Depot
NACHES, Wash-- Spring is finally here and what better time to unveil the newly remodeled Naches Valley Chamber of Commerce.
The old train depot once brought milk to the valley, then served as a stop on the logging route. Now the Naches Valley Chamber of Commerce hopes tourists will stop at the depot as they travel through the Naches valley.
White Pass and Chinook Pass are well known vacation spots. But, the goal is to show people what the Naches Valley has to offer.
"So that trickle down affect to get us here to Naches is what we're looking for and then from Naches to disburse it in our community," said Randy Juette, president of the Naches Valley Chamber of Commerce.
The chamber must man the depot from Memorial Day to Labor Day. They are in need of volunteers. If you'd like to help out or see all that the new chamber has to offer just stop by. As you cross the tracks into downtown Naches you can't miss the newly renovated building.
