Kittitas County Superior Court Prepares for Daniel Webb's Return

ELLENSBURG, Wash-- Kittitas County Superior Court is preparing for Daniel Webb's return.

Webb made national news by holding up a convenience store in Thorp, just outside west of Ellensburg, with this nine-year-old daughter in tow.

He surrendered to police in Yakima Saturday. He's still in the Yakima County Jail Monday night. It's likely Webb will be moved to Kittitas County Jail tomorrow.

Kittitas County Undersheriff Clayton Myers said Webb has a history of domestic violence as well as problems with alcohol.

"He was really on a downhill spiral and [there was] tremendous concern that he was really going to hurt somebody or that he'd hurt himself," said Myers.

Myers said they have not yet recovered the weapon used in the robbery. Webb's daughter, Meadow, told detectives where she thought Webb might have tossed it. Meadow is now home safe with her mother.
