RICHLAND, Wash - Young students got a chance to show off their science projects today during the 17th annual Science Fair at Lewis and Clark Elementary School in Richland.
Students created projects about chemistry, physics and technology.
"Just getting to work with stuff and figuring out a new thing all the time, I just think it's pretty cool. My question was how does salt water affect floatation...and I think it went really great. I loved it!" Says third grade student Hannah Merwin.
Scientists and engineers from the Hanford area and other companies will be on hand to evaluate the kids' work.
The exhibits are open to family, friends and the community until 7:00 tonight.
