Three Finalists to Become Superintendent of the Highland School District

There are three finalists left in the running to become the new Superintendent of the Highland School District.

  1. Walt Wegener is the current Student Services Coordinator at the Toppenish School District.
  2. Rick Winters is the Superintendent at St. John-Endicott School Districts in Whitman County
  3. Mark Anderson currently serves as the Superintendent at Lone Rock School District in Stevensville, Montana

Candidates will be interviewed during a community forum on April 13th at 6:30pm. The school district will name their new Superintendent at the next school board meeting on April 21st.  

The position is currently held by Gary Masten, who'll be resigning at the end of this school year.
