PASCO, Wash. - ShareFest numbers are in and donations could not of come at a better time for the Union Gospel Mission.
ShareFest 2009 earned $57,000 in donations and that will be split between the Union Gospel Mission and Columbia Basin Veterans Coalition.
I spoke to a manager at the mission in Pasco, who says for this time of year, they're seeing more people come in than normal, and a lot of new faces.
"We have more people than we have space available at times. We're using every available inch of the facility," said Mark Heritage with the Union Gospel Mission.
Sharefest's donation will go to the mission's Transitional Housing Facility to help those at the mission get jobs and a home of their own.
