KENNEWICK, Wash.-- Dozens of kids gathered to hunt hundreds of Easter eggs Wednesday. It was the annual Easter Eggstravaganza at the Kennewick Senior Center.
Tuesday's event was for kids three to nine and their families. They got to make a special Easter basket then hunt for eggs to put inside. Tiffney Hill, Senior Center Supervisor, explains, "They like picking out their Easter bag because there's different colors. They like making the craft, and they use lots of glue. They get excited about taking it home and either putting it on their refrigerator or giving it to their parents, and, of course, the chocolate."
Hill says about 65 children showed up and all left with bellies full of candy. They also sang songs, danced, and had a little snack.
