500 Activist Rally Against the Government's Spending and Budgeting

Posted: Updated:
Yakima, WASH.- Over 500 people rallied in downtown Yakima, all frustrated with the U.S. Government's spending and budgeting.

This tea party rally attracted people from all walks of life, from kids to old veterans, many holding signs and banners.

Most of them wanted to reduce government spending and are disappointed with U.S. lawmakers.

"They're not doing a good job, all they're doing is using tax payers money like its monopoly money," said activist Kirk Groenig.

"They need to slow down, start thinking more about what they're doing, they're doing so much so fast that no one has anytime to figure out whether they make sense or not," said activist David Barker.

Activists at Saturday's event say they will continue to try to contact lawmakers and share how they feel.
