Students at River View High School Maintaining Mowers for the Public

Posted: Updated:

FINLEY, Wash - A new program is *starting up* to get your mower ready for the season and raise money for the FFA Chapter of River View High School at the same time.

The agricultural mechanics students along with the FFA students will take orders to work on both push mowers and riding mowers from now through may 15th.

"Twenty bucks a lawn mower to get your oil changed, air filter, blades sharpened and its a lot cheaper and we usually have it in and out in three to four days....kids really get a kick out of that when the teachers get to bring in their lawn mowers and the students get to work on them...it's sort of flip floppin' who's running' the show!" Says teacher Keith Holman.

Money raised will go toward student FFA activities and expansion of the agriculture program at River View High School.  You can contact the school for further information.
