BENTON CITY, Wash-- It's a Benton City event many believe is unlike any other and Saturday was the season opener.Mud bogging races started and contestants from all over Eastern Washington brought their rigs to try to win some prize money or at least not get stuck in the mud.
The Benton City Lions put on the event, they raise money for schools and charities. KNDU talked to one racer who's been competing for years."It goes side by side, whoever gets through the mud first wins. Instead of hanging out in the bar I came out here and have fun," said Randy Mack, Mud Bogger. If you didn't make it out Saturday there will be three more races in Benton City throughout the summer. Make sure you have a four-wheel drive vehicle otherwise you will get stuck in the mud.
