KENNEWICK, Wash.--  The suspect in a Pasco homicide is behind bars.  16-year-old Christopher Ruesga was arrested at 4:00 Tuesday afternoon on the 1700 block of West 5th Avenue.

Officers say he was wanted for shooting and killing 38 year-old Eutimio Vivero Martinez Jr., of Pasco, on Sunday.  Ruesga was on the run for the past few days, but Tuesday, police got a tip he was in Kennewick.  Then, officers got a search warrant, and the SWAT team was called in to surround the house.  Detective Sergeant Mike Genack says, "All the people in the house voluntarily gave up and walked outside.  One of them happened to be the suspect from the Pasco shooting.  He was taken into custody without incident."

Ruesga was then taken to the Pasco Police Department for questioning.  Detectives stayed at the home where he was found to look for evidence.  Officers say they believe the shooting was gang related.
