Bomb Squad Called in at Kennewick Mobile Home Park
KENNEWICK, Wash.-- A man with a warrant for his arrest didn't willingly want to go with police on Monday. It turned into a stand off and the bomb squad was called out in Kennewick.
Officers say 24-year-old Conley Butler ran into a trailer on the 4800 block of Clearwater Avenue when he spotted police. After a ten minute stand off, police found a sawed off shot gun and a hand grenade in Butler's possession.
The entrance to the Columbia Mobile Village was blocked off while the Richland Police Bomb Squad collected the grenade.
Butler was arrested on the warrant and a probation violation.
