Kennewick Couple Still Missing

Posted: Updated:

FINLEY, Wash.-- Benton County Sheriff's Deputies are still looking for a couple they say has been missing since May 6th.

Deputies say the couple was camping out near Toothakre Road in Hover Park.

Family members say they last saw 27 year old Bradley Novak Junior and his girlfriend 25 year old Julianne Keel. A source close to the family told us that Keel is five months pregnant.

Deputies say on Monday there was no one searching for these two people. Because of the wind county staff didn't have a boat or a plane out. They won't search with a plane or boat until they have a more specific location.

Novak has a warrant out for his arrest. Court documents show it's because of some outstanding fines. He missed a court date last week, but at that point he was already considered missing.

Deputies searched the area and found the trailer they were in but didn't find the couple. Other relatives have said they went on a supposed boat trip.

KNDU talked to both families. They say it's unusual for the couple to go missing without calling.

Some family members are planning a search on foot out here in the next few days. Deputies say the search on land will continue.
