PASCO, Wash-- The auto sales industry is about to get a face-lift in the Tri-Cities... Thursday's word that Leskovar could lose Jeep and Tri-City Motor Sales could lose Chrysler only adds to recent changes.
A few weeks back Lithia ford was bought up by Legacy Ford. Slowly the number of car dealerships are dwindling, which could mean some big business for the dealers' that aren't experiencing any changes.
KNDU met with the general sales manager of Legacy Ford in Pasco. He tells us it's almost a catch-22 that his competitors are facing tough times.
"None of us want to see any businesses fail, that's for sure," says Smith. "There's families involved and nobody wants to see another store go down. Does that put some more pie out there for us, more people out there that may buy Fords now? Absolutely, no question about it."
Smith says that also comes with more responsibility and customer satisfaction. And don't think these dealerships facing tough times are just going to go away. Both Leskovar and Tri-Cities Motor Sales sell other makes.
