FINLEY, Wash-- One day after a truck crashes into a house, it's pulled out. It took two tow trucks and lots of load bearing posts to get the ford truck out from under the house.
Friday a 15-year-old who just got her permit was driving with her mom on Reata Rd. to her uncle's house, which was just a block away from her house.
The girl's uncle believes instead of using the brake she pushed gas and the truck went through a fence and crashed into the neighbors house.
The teen's mom was in the car, she was taken to Harborview Medical Center, but has since been released. The teen's uncle says there's only one word to describe the whole incident.
"Lucky. Lucky that no one was seriously injured. I'm lucky that I still have my sister in law and niece. You look at this accident and you see how bad it is. It's one of those accidents that you instantly think someone died," said Jeff Weaver.
The contractor says it will take about two months to repair the house and could cost as much as $70,000.
The room that the car crashed into was actually a yoga studio. The homeowners were out to eat when it happened so no one inside the house was injured.
