WALLULA, Wash.-- A body has been found in the Columbia River near Wallula.
One Benton County Sergeant says the body was found on the shoreline between Boise Cascade and Highway 730. The body was found by fishermen in a rocky area just before 3:00 Saturday afternoon. Columbia Basin Dive Rescue was in the water for roughly three hours.
There are no details available on the identity of the body. The Walla Walla County coroner will be doing an autopsy and identifying the body.
