SELAH--Selah's Community Days celebration is in full swing!
The town's annual parade kicked off at 10 a.m. Saturday morning. Just like the crowds, the parade itself was bigger than ever with more entries than last year.
Selah Mayor Bob Jones told KNDO the crowds were larger than he's seen in his 13 years as mayor.
He thinks this weekend's events are a sign of Selah's growth.
This is just part of making Selah the hometown U.S.A. that it really is," Jones said.
Jones said this weekend's events help to showcase both new and old businesses in town.
Selah Community Days continues with a carnival and fireworks Saturday night and events all day Sunday.
