Fever Have Bye Week to Think About 77-28 Loss to Boise
Richland, Wash. -- Most of the Tri-Cities Fever are going home this week as players are spending the bye week with their families.
In Saturday's game against Boise, the story was a couple of cousins. Fever receiver Finas Rabb had 10 catches for 110 yards and 2 touchdowns for the Fever. But his cousin Jerard went bigger for the Burn. He caught only 4 balls but all 4 were for touchdowns as Boise thrashed the Fever 77-28 on Saturday.
Players say the team moved the ball well but didn't execute when it counted.
"When we got down in the red zone for whatever reason, it would be a mistake by somebody, and if one guy messes up, then it throws off the timing for everybody else, " Quarterback Ryan Porter says. "I think every single one of us on offense and defense had a few mental break-downs. It's a good learning experience. I doubt, I know we won't lose that bad again."
