KENNEWICK, Wash.-- Bradley Novak's mom says news of a body found in the Columbia River near the site where her son went missing was very emotional for her.

Still she is not giving up hope that he will be found alive.

Novak who is 27 years old and his girlfriend 25 year old Julianne Keel were last seen in Kennewick a few weeks ago.

They were believed to be living in an RV on Toothaker Road in Hover Park near Finley. Benton county sheriff deputies say the couple may have gone on a boat trip.

Novak's mom says she believes someone has more information about what happened to her son.

"I believe there's people out there who do know what happened to him and that's what I would like to see is those people come forth and say what they know," said Bradley Novak's mother.

There is no confirmation that the body is in fact Novak. It was found on the shoreline between Boise Cascade and Highway 730 on Saturday.

The Walla Walla County Coroner, Frank Brown, says it may be a week before we know who it is, but it does appear to be a white male in his early 30's.

An autopsy has been scheduled for Wednesday.
