Amber Alert issued for two-week old boy

TONASKET, Wash. - An Amber Alert has been issued for a 14-day-old child that authorities say was abducted in violation of a court order to place the child in specialized foster/medical care. The child has been diagnosed with PKU metabolic disorder that impairs his ability to process amino acids. Authorities report there is an imminent threat to his health.

Authorities believe the child's mother, 18-year-old Gretchen Pier has the child. She is described as a white female, 5'4" and 165 pounds. She has brown hair and brown eyes.

She was driving a 1989 Honda Accord with the license plate number 351YOU.
