YAKIMA--Eisenhower High School student Jacob Moore returns home after battling a rare illness.
He was diagnosed with a rare throat disease and hospitalized for three weeks.
Jacob made it home to Yakima Saturday.
His first stop was Kissel Park to play and walk with his puppy.
Jacob said he's slowly feeling better.
"I think for now we're going to focus on getting me back to the old Jake," he said. "[I want to] gain my weight back and get my strength."
Jacob said he'll be going back to school tuesday to finish his senior year.
He's looking forward to graduating June 4.
