PASCO, Wash.-- A semi truck carrying 42,000 pounds of potatoes rolled over on Highway 395 on the ramp going to 182 West.
State Patrol troopers say the accident might have been speed related. The potato load was headed to Nampa, Idaho.
The truck driver was wearing a seat belt and suffered minor injuries.
DOT initially closed the ramp but it has now re-opened.
"There is a high possibility he was going more than 35 miles per hour on the ramp, probably closer to highway speeds," said Sergeant Zach Elmore, with the Washington State Patrol.
The semi also had a fuel leak when it rolled over. Troopers say they had to use a Class C trailer and a tow truck to get the truck off the ramp.
