PROSSER, Wash. -- Prosser High School was on lockdown this morning after word of a suspected gun on campus.
It happened around 10am. The school was locked down for 25 minutes.
School staff received a tip from a student. Prosser Police officers responded and the student was taken to the police station but the suspected gun turned out to be a gun shaped cigarette lighter.
Principal Kevin Lusk says both the school and officers responded smoothly, thanks largely to emergency drills conducted school wide.
