Tri-Cities Businesses Network at "Open for Business" Trade Show
KENNEWICK, Wash.-- Local companies networked and made connections at the "Open for Business" trade show Tuesday. The second annual expo was at the Three Rivers Convention Center in Kennewick.
More than 80 different companies set up shop to find new clients, resources, and business ideas. Some had interactive demonstrations, displays of their product, and even some food samples.
Jennifer Pena, manager at LeMaster Daniels, says the company was there to network. she explains, "We're here to grow our business. So we're out looking for new prospects and resources and people who need our help."
Ramiro Delamora, Catering Manager for Fiesta, says, "People know about our restaurants. They know where we're located, but not everybody knew that we do delivery and catering. So, it's started to open a lot of people's eyes, and it's actually brought in about 5 new customers."
All types of businesses were there: from construction, to engineering, to healthcare, even finance and accounting.
It was put on by the Tri-City Regional Chamber of Commerce.
