WASHINGTON, D.C. - A new national report out Wednesday says the average graduation rate for students in Washington state attending a four-year college within six years is 59 percent.
While that number is low, it is higher than the national average. As for institutions in the Central Washington area, the rates range from the state's highest to the lowest.
Central Washington Four-Year College Graduation Rates in Six Years:
Whitman College - 55%
CWU - 55%
Heritage University - 17%
Other State Institutions:
Gonzaga - 80%
UW - 75%
WSU - 63%
EWU - 47%
