OLYMPIA, Wash. -- If you've ever wanted to try your hand at fly fishing or clam digging, this would be a good weekend to give it a shot.
On June 6th and 7th, no license is required to fish in Washington as part of "Free Fishing Weekend". However, other rules such as size limits and season closures will still be in effect.
The Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife has set up a webpage that gives beginners tips on things like 'how to bait a hook' and 'how to clean your catch'.
We've got a link to that website under the "on air links" tab on the homepage.
