WEST RICHLAND, Wash-- Business news has been dreary for months now. But Friday was a bit of a brightspot in West Richland. The local Chamber of Commerce teamed up with Pasco's Chamber and the Tri-Cities Hispanic Chamber to welcome in three new businesses.
Those three are the Sandberg Event Center & Gardens and the Gathering Place Bistro & Gifts, The White Bluffs Center for Quilting and Fiber arts, and Henry's Restaurant and Catering.
The mood for some businesses in west richland is exciting.
"We have a lot going on," explains May Hays, executive director of the West Richland Chamber of Commerce. "There's a lot of excitement in West Richland. It's just a great community to open a business in and to work in and to live in."
Hays also said Friday's trio of ribbon cuttings could mean good news not just for these three businesses, but others, too. She says it was a great way to network.
