Pasco, WA- A lawyer defending a man accused of manslaughter may have to leave the case.
Marnicus Lockhard is accused in the death of 19-year-old Tiairra Jo Garcia of Pasco.
One of his attorneys also represents a man accused in an unrelated case who prosecutors plan to call to testify against Lockhard.
The defense lawyer says he believes at this point he can represent both Lockhard and the other man.
But prosecutors say the lawyer representing both men is a conflict of interest and could lead to a mistrial.
Superior Court Judge Bruce Spanner says he'll decide later this week whether the defense attorney can remain on the case.
