KENNEWICK, Wash. -- Wednesday was the second day of the Major League Draft and a number of local players had their names called.
The top local pick was CBC left-handed outielder Darrell Ceciliani. He was picked in the 4th round by the New York Mets. Also, former Richland Bomber and Washington Husky Kyle Conley was drafted in the 7th round by the Saint Louis Cardinals.
Former Warden and Oregon State star Jorge Reyes went to San Diego in the 17th and Kennewick High pitcher Tony Bryant was drafted in the 25th round by the Minnesota Twins.
