TERRACE HEIGHTS--The Yakima Greenway was the place for kids to be on Saturday.
The fish in Sarg Hubbard Pond were in serious danger thanks to CAST for Kids, a fishing event for children with developmental disabilities.
On the other end of Sarg Hubbard Park, Running for a Healthy Start aimed to teach kids how to be fit.
One fisherman tells KNDO reporter Nick Paradise how he reeled in five fish.
"They were fighting hard!" Guy Plmandez said. He caught four trout and one bluegill. "[I just] reeled in really hard. Luckily, I was pretty strong."
Guy was just one of about 20 kids who fished, with roughly 60 more attending Running for a Healthy Start.
