KENNEWICK, Wash. --Fever quarterback Colin Drafts started his Arena League career in the Tri-Cities and now, he becomes the 5th starting quarterback Tri-Cities has used this season.
After joining the team last week, Drafts threw 3 touchdown passes in the 3rd quarter against Spokane on Saturday. That led Fever Head Coach Pat O'Hara to make him the new starter.
"Colin brings us some experience," O'Hara said. "He gets the ball out quicker. He makes quick decisions because he has been there. Colin and I will continue to spend a lot of time together so he knows what I want. He knows what I am comfortable with. I liked it, the other night he got banged around a little bit, but he's a tough kid. He took off, ran with the ball, got a first down, got knocked around, and kept getting back up. I like that. That's all part of the maturation process in the Arena League."
