KENNEWICK, Wash. - In the midst of their worst season ever, the Tri-Cities Fever are turning to an old star wideout for help. J.R. Thomas is back on the team will play in this Saturday's home game against Stockton. Thomas had worked out for the Fever last week but was not added to the roster for last week's game in Spokane. Thomas led the team with 29 touchdowns last season. He originally chose to sit this year out because he didn't get along with coach Richard Davis, but davis has since been fired. Thomas also has a personal training business he has been running. Tri-Cities is just 1-11 this year. The lone win came against Stockton earlier this year. The Lightning are 4-8.
