Fever Try to Salvage a Win

KENNEWICK, Wash. - The Tri-Cities Fever have two home games left in what could be their final season.
Thursday owner Doug MacGregor announced he might fold the team if he can't find a local business partner by August.
Saturday night they host 4-8 Stockton, the one team they beat this year. Tri-Cities is 1-11 after getting crushed at Spokane last week.  The bad record, low attendance and unclear future of the team have all taken their toll.
"This has ben an extremely tough season on the city, the fans of the Fever, and the franchise," said coach Pat O'Hara. "We are trying to do whatever we can to salvage this thing and try to get a win or two, maybe more, but it remains a work in progress."
