RIMROCK, Wash-- Investigators are on the scene of a plane crash that killed two and left a young girl in the hospital.

A single engine Cesssna crashed just East of the Rimrock air-strip, near White Pass. It happened around 3:00 p.m. Sunday.  Yakima County Sheriff's Deputies said the plane went through the trees, coming to rest on the ground.

The pilot, 37-year-old Justin Reed, and his son, 13-year-old Perrin, were killed. The five-year-old daughter, Julie, has been airlifted to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.  No word on her condition.  The Yakima County Coroner says the family is from Yakima.

Roads near the crash site are blocked off until the investigation is completed.  "We have to keep it locked down and secure until FAA and NTSB get here so they can conduct an investigation," said Dept. Dan Cypher, Yakima Sheriff's Office.
